As we reflect on the success of this year’s Quarter B-4, we’re excited to share the highlights and updates from our latest season.
At the end of last summer, we decided to adjust the minimum eligibility age for Quarter B-4: Pikas to 8 years old. This change ensured that all campers could fully enjoy and benefit from the overnight experience. We also shortened the program by one night. Campers enjoyed a full day of activities on Saturday but were picked up that afternoon, allowing them to spend Sunday at home with their families.
This year, 120 Marmots and 80 Pikas experienced a memorable camp. Some of the highlights included:
- Epic Dance Party: The week ended with a lively dance party that had everyone moving and grooving.
- Beautiful Weather: Perfect weather made every activity enjoyable and memorable.
- Sing-Along Fun: The Pavilion was filled with energy during All-Camp Campfire as campers sang along to pop classics with their creative twists.
- Tie-Dyeing: Campers had a blast expressing their creativity with tie-dye projects.
Throughout the five-day experience, campers engaged in various activities, including climbing wall, archery, crafts, and a taste of outcamp life with games, s’mores, and fort building. Marmots also enjoyed horseback riding, hiking, outdoor rock climbinh, and high ropes, enhancing their camp experience.
A significant moment was the creation of their Code of Living and the presentation of Green Kerchiefs (GK). Wearing their GKs to dinner each evening symbolized their commitment to the Code of Living and the unique Cheley Wxperience.
We are thankful for every challenge faced, smile shared, skill perfected, and friendship built during this enriching experience. Thank you to all the campers and families for making this season special. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year!
