Final Saturday
Final Saturday is a wonderful time to get a snapshot of your camper’s summer playground and meet many of their fellow campers and counselors.
Due to the evacuations at Boys’ Trail’s End and Girls’ Trail’s End, the schedule for Final Saturday has been updated and finalized. Please note that no events will be held at the Trail’s Ends. Out of respect for our neighbors and law enforcement, and in compliance with the evacuation notices, we kindly ask that you do not visit the Trail’s Ends. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Schedule
Please bring a water bottle, rain gear, walking shoes (closed-toe), a hat, and sunscreen. While we provide a BBQ lunch on Saturday for all visitors, we encourage you to bring a picnic lunch to share with your camper(s). Please enjoy your time at camp with your camper and do not take them off the property. We ask that your camper not use cell phones or social media. Pets are not allowed.
Chapel and BBQ Lunch
During Final Chapel, campers share a “What Camp Means to Me” message, and there are many songs and musical performances. Campers and staff wear their kerchiefs and appropriate clothing (Chapel attire)—we welcome you to do the same!
Land O’Peaks (LOP) Units
Chapel begins promptly at 11:00 a.m. for friends and family. You may begin arriving as early as 9:45 a.m., but we suggest no later than 10:40 a.m. to allow for time to walk to the Chapel. Please do not arrive prior to 9:45 a.m. BBQ Lunch will be served in Chipeta & Ski Hi Dining Halls at LOP. Lower Ski Hi and Lower Chipeta should eat lunch immediately following Chapel.
BTE
Chapel begins promptly at 11:30 a.m. at the soccer field for friends and family. You may begin arriving as early as 10:30 a.m. Please do not arrive prior to 10:30 a.m. You will park on the road, just beyond the Cheley Arch. BBQ Lunch will be served in Ski Hi Dining Hall at LOP. We will have shuttles to take you to and from the Dining Hall.
GTE
BBQ Lunch will be served in Ski Hi Dining Hall at 11:30 a.m. You may begin arriving as early as 10:30 a.m. Please do not arrive prior to 10:30 a.m. You will park in Lower Ski Hi and walk to the Dining Hall. Chapel begins promptly at 12:30 p.m. in the Lower Ski Hi Buddy Ring for friends and family.
Recognition Receptions
During Recognition Receptions, you will have the opportunity to meet your camper’s counselors. Counselors will give a brief overview of their program area, each unit will celebrate the accomplishments of the summer, including earning a patch or milestone in a program area, participating in a certain activity, or accomplishing a personal goal. At the closing of the reception, we will hold our Citizenship Recognition ceremonies.

Before leaving your camper’s unit, please remember to take their luggage, valuables, and medications. Don’t forget to pick up any crafts, ceramics, and woodworking projects your camper made this summer!

Parent Gathering in Town – Siblings Welcome!
Enrollment for Summer Camp 2025 will be open at the Barrel.

On Saturday evening, to celebrate the summer and bring closure to an impactful experience, all units will have a special closing Final Campfire. Campers must stay for this important event.
When’s camper pick-up? Late Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
If you are picking up your camper(s) on Saturday evening, please do so between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm for Lower Ski Hi, Lower Chipeta, Ski Hi, and Chipeta, and 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm for the TEs, Haiyaha, and Senior Chipeta. On Sunday, pick up your camper between 6:00 am and 8:00 am.
